Benjoy: Anti-Spill Munchcups

Snacks: Finding healthy, convenient and tasty snacks for a toddler is a nightmare! So when Benjoy asked us to review their new Anti-Spill Munchcups I was overjoyed with anticipation of finally finding a snack that Lexi would enjoy but would also be less messy, less wasteful and healthy but still tasty and appetising.
All varieties are made with 100% natural ingredients and come in a pack of 4. They are packaged in recyclable cardboard and the pots are recyclable too meaning there really is no waste! The munchcups themselves are brilliant; anti-spill meaning less mess and fuss you just "peel off the lid, push the centre and munch away".
We were sent a sample of the following Munchcups, and this is what we thought:-

Wholesome Multigrain Munchers - Tomato & Roasted Red Pepper
Boasting the promise of being nutritious and delicious sticks made with vegetables and a mix of grains and seeds, they sounded lovely. I think I enjoyed them slightly more than Lexi as she wasn't too keen on the texture - they are a little like rough Italian breadsticks - but I thought they were yummy! She did eat some but, to Mummy's delight, didn't finish the whole pot so I had the arduous task of finishing them... YUM!

Wholesome Mini Crisps - Root Vegetable
Lexi has always loved crisps of any variety so she really enjoyed these root vegetable crisps. She wolfed them down with sheer delight! I had a little taster and you can really taste the flavours of the parsnip, sweet potato, beetroot and carrot. They are absolutely delicious. Sweet, crisp and the perfect portion size.

Wholesome Multigrain Bites - Tomato & Carrot
Described as being nutritious and delicious pieces of rice, quinoa, oats and wheat with tomato and carrot juice, I was worried that Lexi would feel conned as they look a little like Lexi's beloved Wotsits. I was wrong (as usual!). She thoroughly enjoyed them which was amazing! They have the same texture as the cheesy, fatty snack but are so much better for her. I was more than happy when she asked for more after quickly devouring the first pot!

Crunchy Grape Slices
I was a little disappointed at first as this pot appeared to be half empty, but actually after eating them, Lexi had had enough before she had finished the whole pot. They are quite sweet so perhaps a little sickly after eating a lot of them. They are delicious though! I loved them so if you're child has a sweet tooth, unlike Lexi, then they are perfect.

Crunchy Strawberry Slices
The description of being nutritious and delicious pieces of real fruit, simply freeze dried with nothing added was mouth-watering enough but Lexi doesn't have a sweet tooth so I didn't think she would enjoy them.... She did. Rather sucking them than crunching them, she ate the first pot and asked for more. They are absolutely gorgeous! Exactly what the description promises, they melt in the mouth and taste amazing!
As well as being absolutely moreishly delicious, all Benjoy's Munchcups boast the credentials of having no artificial flavours, no artificial colours, no preservatives, no added salt or sugar, no hydrogenated fats and are 100% natural ingredients making them perfect for lunchboxes, picnics, long car journeys or just as a quick and convenient snack but giving us Mummies the peace of mind of being healthy for our children. What more can us parents ask for!

Benjoy Munchcups are available to buy from Amazon, Morrisons, Ocado, Waitrose, Naturebotts and Naturally Good Food and prices vary but are £2.59 on average which I think is well worth paying for peace of mind! Visit www.benjoy.co.uk for more information.

Thank you Benjoy; your Munchcups are absolutely positively Loved by Lexi.
